Dandelion Dining Time (DDT) was launched on Saturday March 7 with a lunch at Elmscroft with a futher lunch on Monday 8 March and a dinner at Linton Park on Saturday 13 March.
Since the start of

OUR BIG FUNDRAISING IDEA
Like DANDELION TIME itself, our fundraising idea is simple in concept but potentially huge in scope.It works like this:
We want you to host a fundraising event of your choosing and invite friends and family who will engage with Dandelion Time – a charity that deals with fundamental issues around the welfare of our children.
You can do whatever you want! Some people are hosting dinner or lunch parties (usually charging £10 per person), whilst others are running events for around £5 per person such as kids’ sports days and wine tastings. How about organising an Easter Egg Hunt or arranging a pub quiz team? The possibilities are endless and the whole point is that your event should fit in with whatever YOU feel happy doing.
Here’s the clever bit: You ask every person who joins you to sign up to host their own Dandelion Time event.
Think about it: You invite 10 people paying £10 each - that’s £100 already! Your friends host 10 guests – that’s 100 people! They all pay £10 – that’s £1,000 to a good cause, Dandelion Time! And that’s just you. Imagine what could happen if the idea spreads ….

We know that you want your project to go as smoothly as possible – ultimately it’s a fundraiser for Dandelion Time, but it’s equally important for you to enjoy the event without too much pressure! To help make the process easy to follow, we have created an event pack enclosing information you'll need for your event.

We also have DVD copies of a 5 minute film about Dandelion Time available. This is available on You Tube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0sVqvLmIPE) and will be uploaded, shortly, to our website.
